Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual to join our team as an Assistant Manager- Audit & Assurance.

Responsibilities:

  • Design audit approaches and oversee field engagements.
  • Ensure timely completion of audits with high-quality standards.
  • Analyze risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement with the team.
  • Prepare accurate financial statements based on audit findings.
  • Collaborate with teams for comprehensive reporting.
  • Complete client annual reports and engage with clients on audit matters.
  • Contribute to planning and establish clear objectives for audits.
  • Evaluate client procedures and internal controls; conduct audit tests.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant with a strong understanding of accounting principles.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in external audit, demonstrating a solid track record of success.
  • In-depth knowledge of IFRS and International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with a proactive and result-oriented approach.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Must be based in Lilongwe.
