Audit Senior

A Mid-Sized Audit firm situated in Blantyre is looking for prospective candidates to fill up the following vacancy

AUDIT SENIOR: (1 Post)
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead, manage, develop audit teams
• Plan and Oversee external audits for various clients
• Review audit team’s performance, accuracy and compliance in line with Firm’s policies & procedures
• Prepare audit files in line with relevant international accounting/auditing standards and international standards on quality management.
• Ensure that audits are completed in time and files/reports are submitted to the audit manager/partner.
• Prepare management letter and communicate with the clients.
• Make recommendations for solutions and improvements.
• Be a team player.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5-10 years’ experience
• Knowledge of an audit software and exposure to CaseWare will be an advantage
• Should have an ACCA /ICAM or remaining with minimum of 2 papers to qualify
• Should have strong analytical skills and excellent in using excel and word.
