Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the post of Cashier/Receptionist Intern tenable at Asamala Health Services (Area 18 Medi-Clinic) in Lilongwe.
REPORTING TO: Accountant
JOB PURPOSE:
The main purpose of this role is to ensure correct and prompt registration and charging of all patients and clients seeking services from the clinic, and to provide high levels of customer delight in clinic operations as a multi-skilled person while conducting transactions with efficiency and accuracy and demonstrating the company’s core values.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Receiving payments from clients through the facilities approved payment platforms.
2. Issuing official receipts for all cash transactions.
3. Collect revenue by recording financial information.
4. Generating invoices for relevant clients.
5. Ensure appropriate insurance guidelines are followed when providing services to clients.
6. Provide clear information to clients regarding services offered.
7. Provide timely feedback to clients to ensure high customer satisfaction.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES:
· Applicants must have a Diploma in Front Office Operations or its equivalent.
· Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word)
· Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
