POSITION: CORPORATE RELATIONSHIP MANAGER – GIO
Location: Lilongwe

JOB DESCRIPTION

A great and unique opportunity has arisen for you within FCB Plc in the Northern Region for the role of Corporate Relationship Manager – GIO. Reporting to the Senior Corporate Relationship Manager, the successful candidate will manage a portfolio of Corporate clients and achieve sustainable business development through customer acquisitions and selling the bank’s products and services to existing and prospective clients. The position is tenable in Lilongwe.

Key Responsibilities

– Sourcing Deposits against the target.
– Growing advances against the target.
– Growing the Trade Services.
– Integrate and coordinate customer relationships in line with First Capital Bank’s Business Strategy and vision.
– Maintain networks for leads and prospects making sure to build and grow prospect list. (Using own initiative, develop a network of personal relationships with employees within the Public Sector and development partners/ Donor community to easily access information).
– Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of client’s banking requirements, donor’s covenants (for donor funded projects), so that professional business advice is provided to clients. In the process, identify client needs and pro-actively match the needs with bank products.
– Identify cross selling opportunities and sales leads and retain quality clients and grow client base with emphasis on quality.
– Develops business proposals to clients for new business that display an intimate understanding of the Bank’s product areas, capabilities and how these can be utilized to address the customer needs.
– Assist in collection of relevant client information for client KYC due diligence.
– Client Profitability and Credit and Operational Risk Management

Qualifications and Requirements

– A bachelor’s degree in any business-related field.
– At least 2 years’ experience in Banking dealing in relationships management or marketing/selling.
– Banking experience, specifically within the Branch network/Corporate banking.
– Knowledge of Credit/Risk management.
