Credit Monitoring Manager
Applications are invited from suitably qualified, experienced, self-motivated, and enthusiastic individuals for the post of Credit Monitoring Manager – tenable at Head Office, Lilongwe.
Job Purpose
Reporting to the Head of Credit, the incumbent is primarily responsible for the Basel Reporting, ECL Modelling and Financial reporting, Credit facility performance management, Compliance checks and monitoring, Loans and Advances reconciliation to Finance and Risk, and organization development.
Key Responsibilities

Credit risk modelling and management: risk identification and mitigation.

Scenario analysis and trend forecasting for better decision making.

Facilitating provisions on credit facilities ensuring accurate and timely compliance to the regulatory requirements.

Monitoring past due and expired facilities on Advances and Overdrafts to ensure NPLs and Excesses are within acceptable limits.

IFRS 9 risk disclosures and reporting.

Prepare compliance checks with Basel Accord, Risk management best practices, Collection strategies and ECL modelling.

Assist Head of Credit Division in leading and facilitating projects and development on Loans and Advances performance.

Conduct continuous checks on loan performance to ensure alignment with Credit policy, performance metrics and strategies.

Prepare compliance checks with Basel Accord, Risk management best practices, Collection strategies and ECL modelling.

Set and manage performance standards for subordinates.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills / Competencies

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Banking, or any related field.

Professional certification in Finance and Audit; ACCA, ICAM will be an added advantage.

Excellent analytical skills – ability to analyze complex data and design and produce effective management information.

At least 5 years of experience at managerial level or supervisory level in a similar role, Accounting and Finance in a financial institution preferably a Bank.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and good knowledge of Micro finance and Banking systems.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
