About us

The Parliament Chapter was developed as the arm of African and the World Youth Parliament for Water to foster youth participation, recognition and build resilience communities around water, climate change, agriculture, peace, employment and social protection in marginalized context.

Call for Startup Team

MYPW is currently collaborating with African Youth Parliaments for Water and its partners towards mutual cooperation with African local governments to revitalize youth policies and commitments made from UN 2023 Water Conference. At the same time undertaking research for gaps in water spheres and accessibility in Malawian rural societies. As a newly formed administration chapter, we are looking for the following candidates who are dedicated and ready to join the parliament administration as volunteers preliminary under the Development and Administration Management. Candidates with strong skills, active to the assignments and professional experience for organization development are highly encouraged to apply.

Development Officer

Role: Supports the strategic fundraising efforts of the Parliament by designing, implementing, evaluating and refining the Chapter’s development activities, with an emphasis on both small and major gifts. Assists and/or leads in short- and long-range strategic planning activities to create and implement fund-raising goals and objectives developing internal processes and procedures, and aligning marketing and outreach efforts for multiple development programs and initiatives.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• Degree/Diploma

Work Experience

• A minimum of two (2) years working experience
