Position: Farm Manager
Wayilinda Farms, a newly established farm located on the outskirts of Lilongwe, is seeking a
motivated and energetic Farm Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of
a growing agricultural venture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day farm operations, including planting, irrigation, crop care, and harvest.
- Supervise farm staff and ensure efficient workflow.
- Implement and maintain farming schedules and practices.
- Monitor crop health and implement pest and disease control measures.
- Manage farm resources and budgets effectively.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Agribusiness or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of practical experience in farm management.
- Self-starter and results oriented
- Strong knowledge of horticultural practices and crop management.
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Good organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and farm management software is a plus.
