Sigelege Hotels is a Malawian home-grown hospitality group with Sigelege Beach Resort amongst the properties. It is a premier destination on the shores of Lake Malawi, is looking for a dynamic and experienced Food & Beverages Manager to lead our Food & Beverage operations.

About the Role

The Food & Beverages Manager will oversee all resort Food & Beverage outlets including restaurants, bars, conferences, banqueting, and special events. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, managing costs, and leading a motivated team to deliver world-class service.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily operations of all Food & Beverage outlets.

• Develop and implement menus, promotions, and service standards.

• Drive revenue growth through innovative concepts and excellent service.

• Control food & beverage costs, monitor stock, and ensure compliance with health & safety standards.

• Recruit, train, and motivate staff to deliver outstanding guest experiences.

• Work closely with the Group Executive Chef and other departments to maintain service quality.

• Handle guest feedback, resolve complaints, and maintain high satisfaction scores.

• Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and contribute to strategic planning.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree/Diploma in Hospitality Management or related field.

• Minimum 3–5 years experience in Food & Beverage management, preferably in a resort or 4–5 star hotel environment.

• Proven leadership and team management skills.

• Strong financial acumen and cost-control experience.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

• Guest-focused, innovative, and passionate about food and beverage trends.
