JOB TITLE: GOVERNANCE OFFICER

JOB PURPOSE:

The objectives of this position include:

• To provide excellent direction support and efficient, effective and compliant governance and risk management functions for Sales and Distribution
• To respond to the needs of the Sales Director, Zonal Business Managers and the Direct Sales
Manager to ensure quality support in the governance function to these roles particularly, and other directorates as necessary
• To develop, implement and maintain Our clients governance and related risk management framework, policies and processes consistent with approved policies and organizational directives
• To ensure that the requirements and practice of governance and the risk management framework is embedded throughout the organization
• Contribute informed governance and administrative support to the effective operation of the office of the Chief Executive and the Shire as a whole.

REPORTING TO THE DIRECT SALES MANAGER, THE ROLE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

KYC DEVICES

• Tracking the utilisation of KYC devices.
• Tracking Status of Inactive Company owned devices.
• Managing damaged and stolen Company owned devices.

EXCLUSIVE INFRA

• Tracking Inactivity of Airtel Money Branches and Airtel Money Kiosks.
• Reporting of utilisation of assets at Airtel Money Branches and Kiosks.

CONTRACTS

• Managing of Channel Partner Contracts (Distributors, Franchisee Partners, Brand Ambassadors).
• Facilitating the creation of channel partners USDM accounts.

SALES AND DISTRIBUTION STOCK MANAGEMENT

• Oracle – Creation of Move orders.

TEAM DEVELOPMENT

• Carry out on the job training compliance for ZBMs/TSMs/RSEs during market visits and working.

RELATED JOB REQUIREMENT / QUALIFICATION

EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT

• 3 – 5 years Substantial proven experience in taking responsibility for governance and risk management practices, including local laws, policy, and procedural development and compliance-related functions in a telecommunications context.
• Degree preferably in Business Administration or Related Business Field from a reputable institution.
