Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Head Chef, located in Salima. The Head Chef will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and food preparation. Daily tasks include supervising kitchen staff, ensuring food is prepared to the highest quality, maintaining health and safety standards, and managing kitchen budgets. The Head Chef will also collaborate with the management team to design and implement creative and diverse menus to meet guests’ expectations.

Qualifications

Extensive experience in culinary arts, menu planning, and kitchen management
Strong leadership and supervisory skills to manage and motivate kitchen staff
Excellent organizational and time management skills for efficient kitchen operation
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
Creativity and innovation in developing diverse menus
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work in a high-pressure environment
Formal culinary training or degree in culinary arts is a plus
Experience in the hospitality industry is a must
