Overview

New Life Academy, a reputable Christian primary school located in Area 27, Mchezi, Kanengo, Lilongwe, invites applications from qualified, experienced, and God-fearing individuals to fill the position of Head Teacher.

Salary Range

Competitive and commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall academic and administrative leadership for the school.
• Supervise and mentor teachers to ensure high teaching standards.
• Oversee curriculum implementation and monitor student performance.
• Promote discipline, integrity, and Christian values among learners and staff.
• Ensure adherence to educational standards and compliance with Teaching Council of Malawi (TCM) regulations.
• Manage communication between the school, parents, and the community.

Key Requirements

• Must be 40 years of age or above.
• Should be a retired primary school teacher from a government, mission, or private school.
• Must be a born-again Christian committed to working in a Christian environment.
• Holder of a T2 Teaching Certificate from a recognized Teacher Training College (TTC).
• Must be a registered member of the Teaching Council of Malawi (TCM).
• Must possess a valid National Identification Card.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proven experience in school administration or headship will be an added advantage.
