Sigelege Hotels is looking for suitably qualified candidates to fill in its existing vacant positions as follows:
HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER
Reporting to the Hotel Operations Manager. the successful candidate
will, among others, be responsible for:
•Developing and implementing Human Resource Policies and Procedures aligned to best practices.
•Assisting with day-to-day operations of the Human Resources functions and duties.
•Reviewing structures and Job descriptions aligned to business
strategy.
•Implementing succession plans, employee retention plans and
strategies for high performing team members.
•Compiling and updating employee records (hard and soft copies)
•Processing, documenting and preparing reports relating to
personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances,
performance evaluations)
•Coordinating Learning and Development Human Resource
projects (leaming and development matrix, surveys, employee
engagement).
•Implementing and monitoring of the motor vehicle policy and procedures.
•Coordinates hiring and on boarding processes.
•Handling of Industrial Relations issues – Grievance and Disciplinary issues in line with company procedure and existing labour statutes.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES/QUALIFICATIONS
•Familiarity with existing labour Laws
•Good communication skills
•Holder of Bachelor degree/Diploma in Human Resource Management/ Business Administration from well recognized
•Institution plus 5 years’ experience in similar capacity.
