IRRIGATION ENGINEER
Aroha Irrigation is seeking a skilled and innovative Irrigation Engineer to join our dynamic team.
If you have a passion for irrigation systems, a knack for problem-solving, and a commitment to
excellence, this opportunity is for you!
Roles and Responsibilities
a. Design, plan, and oversee irrigation projects from conception to completion.
b. Conduct site assessments and provide technical expertise on irrigation systems.
c. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project efficiency and success.
d. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
e. Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in irrigation technology.
f. Design and install water pumping systems such as solar, diesel and petrol pumps.
g. Helping the sales team with sales and marketing activities
h. Develop and implement irrigation packages based on customer needs to help the marketing team.
i. Any additional responsibilities assigned from time to time.
Qualifications and Skills
a. Degree in Irrigation Engineering or related field.
b. Proven experience in designing and managing irrigation projects.
c. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
d. Excellent project management abilities.
e. At least three years of experience in the irrigation field. Those with experience in the irrigation equipment business will have an added advantage
f. Effective communication and collaboration skills.
g. Conversant with irrigation/water supply designing aid tools such as AutoCAD, Irricad, Epanet, Google Earth Pro, Surfer, ArcGIS, and others
