IRRIGATION TECHNICIAN
Aroha Irrigation is expanding its team and is currently on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled
Irrigation Technician. If you’re passionate about working hands-on with irrigation systems and
contributing to the success of agricultural projects, this opportunity is for you!
Roles and Responsibilities
a. Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems.
b. Conduct on-site inspections and troubleshoot technical issues.
c. Collaborate with the project team for efficient project execution.
d. Ensure adherence to safety protocols for a secure working environment.
e. Provide on-site training and support to clients on irrigation system operation.
f. Helping the sales team with sales and marketing activities
g. Develop and implement irrigation packages based on customer needs to help the marketing team.
h. Any additional responsibilities assigned from time to time.
Qualifications and Skills
a. Diploma in Irrigation or any related field
b. Relevant experience in irrigation system installation and maintenance.
c. Technical skills in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
d. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
e. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
f. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
g. Conversant with irrigation/water supply designing aid tools such as AutoCAD, Irricad, Epanet, Google Earth Pro, Surfer, ArcGIS and others
h. At least one year experience in the irrigation field. Those with experience in the irrigation equipment business will have an added advantage
