Job Title: IT & Systems Administrator
Job Summary
The IT & Systems Administrator ensures SpotDev’s laptops, accounts, and software are secure, compliant, and fully supported. This role manages the company’s IT infrastructure through JumpCloud, delivering near-100% compliance with Cyber Essentials Plus and ISO 27001 technical requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Device & Identity Management: Enrol, configure, and maintain all Windows and macOS laptops via JumpCloud.

Compliance: Maintain near-100% compliance across MFA, encryption, antivirus, and patching. Ensure logs and evidence packs remain audit-ready at all times.

Onboarding & Offboarding: Provision laptops, accounts, and access for new joiners; securely deprovision leavers, wipe devices, and recover assets.

Asset Management: Maintain real-time, audit-ready registers of hardware, software, and admin accounts.

User Support: Act as the first line of IT support for the business (Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, VPN, MFA).

Policy & Security Hygiene: Apply and enforce IT and security policies. Educate staff where needed.

Documentation: Keep runbooks, onboarding guides, and asset registers current, accurate, and accessible.
Skills & Experience

Hands-on experience with Windows and macOS device setup and troubleshooting.

Experience with JumpCloud, Microsoft 365, or equivalent identity/device management platforms.

Strong knowledge of IT security practices: MFA, encryption, antivirus, patching.

Comfortable producing audit-ready evidence (logs, screenshots, registers).

Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar IT administration role.

Proven ability to interpret large volumes of data and extract actionable insights.

Qualifications
