LAUNDRY ATTENDANT

WE ARE HIRING: LAUNDRY ATTENDANT
We are seeking a highly experienced Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will take full responsibility for laundry operations.

Requirements

• 5 years’ proven experience managing and operating laundry services in a hotel or similar environment. Certificate or diploma in Housekeeping Operations or Textile and Fabric Care is an added advantage

• Strong knowledge of different fabrics, detergents, stain removal techniques, and garment care

• Ability to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laundry equipment (washers, dryers, steam irons, presses, etc.)

• Proven experience in inventory management (linen, guest laundry, chemicals, and supplies)

• Excellent time management and organizational skills

• A self-starter who can work independently and with minimal supervision

• Strong attention to quality and hygiene standards

• Team Player (supervising laundry staff is an added advantage)

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake daily laundry operations (washing, drying, ironing, folding, and finishing of linen, and guest laundry)

• Ensure fabrics are treated correctly and laundered according to best practices

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all laundry areas

• Conduct regular equipment checks and report maintenance needs promptly

• Manage inventory and stock levels of laundry supplies

• Uphold the highest standards of guest service and confidentiality
