POSITION: Lodge Manager

Full Time

Location: Head Office- Blantyre.

Specific Responsibilities and Duties.

  • Ensuring guest safety is a priority at all times with excellent end to end customer care
  • Delivering a professional front of house service and quickly solving issues
  • Developing a program of cultural, social and environmental activities for guests
  • Ensuring staff know their daily duties and effectively meet all objectives
  • Providing on the job training and mentoring of the staff to continually raise services levels.
  • Completing regular stock- takes, inventory checks and general maintenance checks.
  • Managing petty cash transactions, reconciliation and documentation

Required skills, qualifications and experience

  • Experience in managing a lodge, preferably for at least 3 years
  • Proactive, with strong organizational skills and the ability to get things done.
  • Bachelor degree in hospitality management (or its equivalent)
  • Excellent communicator with good spoken and written English
  • Basic computer sals (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Email)
