Post: Monitoring and Evaluation Officer (Grade I)

Salary: Within the Grade I salary scale segment
Location: Ministry of Education

Qualifications:

Applicants should be in possession of a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics obtained from accredited institutions.

Duties

(a) Providing technical guidance on monitoring and evaluation;

(b) Carrying out review of all programs;

(c) Working with partners to ensure the collection of relevant data needed for effective M&E systems;

(d) Conducting monitoring and evaluation programs on all Education Radio’s operations to check conformity of program implementation to strategic plans;

(e) Preparing monitoring systems and facilitating capacity building in monitoring and evaluation;

(f) Participating in the consolidation of annual work plans and budget estimates;

(g) Liaises with Heads of sections on monitoring and evaluation issues;

(h) Developing and maintaining database for all social and economic information relevant to the Education Radio; and

(i) Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Note: Documentary evidence of major requirements specified in the advertisement shall be required during interviews. Serving officers will also be required to demonstrate during the interviews
that they are permanent and pensionable officers in the Civil Service by producing letters of confirmation in appointment in addition to letters of condition of appointment on probation (PSR 19).
