Job Overview

The Sales Assistant will work professionally within the Sales & Marketing department, supporting sales operations, customer interactions, and market activities in alignment with company goals.

The Role

Support in-house and field sales functions while engaging customers, managing stock, and contributing to market expansion.

Key Responsibilities

In-House Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome customers and assist with questions about products and services.
• Assist customers with product selection and manage POS transactions.
• Maintain stock levels and ensure clean, visually appealing product displays.

Field Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and submit competitor analysis.
• Visit markets regularly and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Address customer concerns with patience and professionalism to boost customer satisfaction.
• Promote products effectively to expand the customer base.

Other Duties

• Compile daily, weekly, and monthly market visit reports.
• Maintain confidentiality on all company matters.
• Work with corporate clients and introduce staff purchase schemes.
• Adhere strictly to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma in Sales & Marketing or related field from a recognized institution.
