Overview

Applications are invited from suitably qualified Candidates to fill vacancies existing at Kasungu District Council as follows:

1. POST: CHIEF PREVENTIVE AND PROMOTION HEALTH OFFICER (GRADE F/M3)

QUALIFICATIONS:

Applicants must be serving Principal Environmental Health Officers (Grade G/M4) inL ocal Authorities with a minimum of four (4) years experience at that grade.

2. POST: CHIEF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT OFFICER (GRADEF/M3)

QUALIFICATIONS:

Applicants must be serving Principal Community Development Officers (Grade G/M4) in Local
Authorities with a minimum of four (4) years experience at that grade.

3. POST: PRINCIPAL ROADS ENGINEER (GRADE G/M4)

QUALIFICATIONS:

Applicants must be serving Roads Engineers (Grade H/M5) in Local Assemblies with four (4) years’
experience at that grade.

4. POST: SENIOR LAND RESOURCES CONSERVATION OFFICER (GRADE H/M5)

QUALIFICATIONS:

Applicants must be serving Land Resources Conservation Officers (Grade I/M6) in Local Authorities with four (4) years experience at that grade.

5. POST: ECONOMIST (GRADE I/M6)

QUALIFICATIONS:

Applicants must be in possession of Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science (Economics) or Development Studies obtained from accredited institutions.

6. POST: ASSISTANT VETERINARY OFFICER (GRADE K/M8)

QUALIFICATIONS:

Applicants must be in possession of a Diploma in Animal Health and Production, or in Veterinary
Science or Veterinary Medicine obtained from a recognized institution.

7. POST: ASSISTANT FISHERIES OFFICER (GRADE K/M8)

QUALIFICATIONS:

Applicants must be serving Senior Fisheries Assistant (Grade L/M10) in Local Assemblies, with a minimum of four (4) years’ experience at that grade or Diploma in Fisheries Management obtained from a recognized institution.
