Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Blantyre for a National Clean Cooking Officer. The National Clean Cooking Officer will be responsible for implementing clean cooking initiatives, coordinating with local communities, overseeing project activities, ensuring project goals are met, and reporting on progress. The role requires engaging with stakeholders, conducting field visits, and ensuring adherence to environmental and safety standards.

Qualifications

Degree in any related field.
Masters Degree will be an added advantage
A minimum of 3 years experience in any related field
Experience in community engagement and project coordination
Knowledge of environmental sustainability practices and clean cooking technologies
Ability to oversee project activities and ensure project goals are met
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to conduct field visits and report on progress
Understanding of safety and regulatory compliance
Relevant experience in the environmental or social development sector is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Community Development, or a related field
