About Us

Ndendende Foods is an emerging agro-processing company specializing in the production and packaging of pure, natural honey. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a committed Operations Intern to join our team. This is a 6-month internship position, with the possibility of renewal based on performance.

Position Summary

The Operations Intern will support daily Ndendende operations to ensure efficiency in operations and general administration of the company. This role reports directly to the Managing Director and a key role in establishing and maintaining smooth and efficient systems of the company

Key Responsibilities

• Ensuring cleanliness and hygiene in the factory and factory premises
• Lead in processing and packaging activities and carrying out quality checks on the products and processes to ensure compliance
• Assist in the improvement of the existing products and development of new food products
• Monitor stock levels of raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods
• Maintain and update all necessary records.
• Coordinate with suppliers and logistics partners for timely deliveries
• Perform general administrative and operational tasks
• Report any issues to relevant authorities
• Provide support in other areas of operations when necessary.

Qualifications & Experience

• Certificate in Business Administration, agro-processing, nutrition or related field
• Some experience in business management, logistics, manufacturing or production environment preferred
• Organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience with graphic design and social media tools is a plus
• A proactive, hands-on attitude
