Football Association of Malawi (FAM) is the governing body of football in Malawi and was founded in 1966 with its main mission of effectively organizing, administering, developing and controlling the game of football in consistent with FIFA rules and regulations in a manner that will continuously improve the standard of football in the country. FAM is affiliated to FIFA, CAF, COSAFA and the Malawi National Council of Sports (MNCS). FAM manages all Malawi national Football, Beach, Futsal teams for both men and Women. FAM is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced people to fill the position of Photographer / Videographer tenable at its Head Office in Blantyre.

Photographer / Videographer

Key Responsibilities

• Capturing high-quality photos and videos of FAM events, including matches, press conferences, launches, and community programmes.

• Producing short and long-form video content for use on FAM’s digital platforms, television, and marketing campaigns.

• Conducting interviews and producing storytelling pieces that highlight football development initiatives and success stories.

• Archiving and managing all multimedia content in a well-organized database for easy retrieval.

• Working closely with the Communications and Marketing teams to plan visual coverage for FAM activities.

• Assisting in developing creative concepts for social media, website, and promotional materials.

• Ensuring timely delivery of visual content for matchday coverage, media releases, and digital updates.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma or Degree in Film Production, Media Arts, or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of photography and videography experience.

• Proven experience in sports photography and video production.

• Proficiency in photo and video editing software (Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent).

• Strong creative storytelling and attention to detail.

• Ability to work under pressure and deliver content in real time.
