PLC TECHNICIAN

VACANCY: PLC TECHNICIAN

Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the above-mentioned vacant position tenable at our Lilongwe Facility.

The successful candidate, among other duties, will be responsible for the following:

• Installation and maintenance of PLC control systems, HMIs, SCADA, OPC servers and network devices.
• Troubleshooting PLC hardware problems.
• Performing new PLC installations and routine maintenance.
• Required to work on shift supporting processing on PLC related issues.
• Responsible for Device network.

REQUIREMENTS

• The candidate should be in possession of at least a Diploma or its equivalent in a relevant field.
• A minimum of 3 years’ work experience in PLCs, HMIs and network devices installation, programming and maintenance.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel Packages.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
