To sustain its growth trajectory, Plastimax Limited is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Production Manager to join its team in Njewa, Lilongwe.

Job Overview

The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing all production operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and minimal waste. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain smooth production workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the entire production process to ensure consistent quality standards.
• Prepare and submit daily shift production reports.
• Implement strategies to control production and minimize wastage or theft.
• Report machine breakdowns promptly to the maintenance team to reduce downtime.
• Allocate jobs and manpower as per recommended machine specifications for optimal productivity.
• Drive operational efficiency to maintain a highly productive manufacturing floor.
• Foster teamwork, collaboration, and effective leadership among the production team.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in a production management or supervisory role, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of quality control principles and production management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on waste reduction and process improvement.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production targets.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
