Overview

The Malawi School of Government (MSG), established by an Act of Parliament No.33 of 2022, has the mandate to deliver human resource development programmes to build capacity for public service and private sector. The Malawi School of Government, Kanengo Campus offers training programmes at various levels including certificate, diploma, Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree and PhD.

Applications are invited from qualified and suitable individuals to apply for part-time teaching positions, which will be available when the new semester opens at the end of January 2024. Interested individuals must possess a minimum of a Master’s Degree from recognized and accredited academic institutions and should have not less than three (3) years of teaching experience at higher education level. The successful applicants will be offered fixed contracts to teach specified modules for a period of one semester either at Kanengo Campus or Blantyre Satellite Centre. Those with PhD qualifications are encouraged to apply.

Applicants must be competent to teach in any of the following modules and be able to teach in more than one module.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Individuals that possesses the requisite qualifications and have the relevant teaching experience in the various thematic areas outlined above, are advised to express their interest by submitting an application letter accompanied with a curriculum vitae and lawyer-certified copies of certificates and at least three (3) professional referees. Those who were previously engaged by the Malawi School of Government in part-time teaching are encouraged to apply in order to be considered.
