VACANCY: RETAIL TRAINING MANAGER

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of Retail Training Manager tenable at Head Office in Blantyre. The successful candidate will report to the Retail Manager and will perform some of the following major activities:

1. Continuously train the Retail network team – i.e., Dealers, Station Staff and Retail Territory Managers in line with TotalEnergies procedures.

2. Improve the quality of service at service stations and implement TotalEnergies Network Operations & Management systems as well as company quality programs.

3. Coordinate all Station Book issues: Roll out station resumes, bio data of staff and recruitment and placement of staff in the stations

4. Advise the replenishment of service station uniforms and initiate procurement process.

5. Coordinate all activities pertaining to Top Service and Golden Team Challenge competition

6. Collect information on wet stock report and work with Territory Managers on wet stock findings and action points from analysis of findings

7. Carry out marketing intelligence activities, report on activities and propose action plan.

8. Promote health safety environment and quality (HSEQ) awareness in all Network.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

1. First degree in Commerce/Social Sciences/Education/Business Administration with a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in training and retail marketing and sales.
2. Working knowledge and experience of Retail Network and marketing activities.
3. Good conceptual, innovative, analytical skills and presentation skills
4. Excellent computer skills and knowledge of use of audio-visual equipment.
5. Responsible and able to work with minimum supervision.
6. Good personal organization.
