SACCO Marketing Officer

VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

UNC SACCO, an affiliate of Malawi Union of Savings & Credit Cooperatives Ltd (MUSCCO), a member owned and democratically controlled financial cooperative society that aims at providing quality and affordable financial services to its members. The SACCO is pleased to invite application from suitably qualified candidates to fill the vacant position of SACCO Marketing Officer.

Reporting to the SACCO Manager, the successful candidate shall assume the following duties and responsibilities:

(a) Recruit New Members and Retain existing ones

(b) Develop and Execute Marketing plans to meet targets

(c) Create and manage marketing campaigns across various channels, e.g. Social Media, print and Digital.

(d) Identify and Pursue new business opportunities

(e) Conduct Market research and monitor competitors

(f) Provide regular sales reports and attend industry events

(g) Promoting SACCO Products and their respective terms and conditions to existing and new members

(h) Collaborate with teams to meet member needs

(i) Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time

Qualifications and attributes

(a) Diploma in Marketing, Sales, Business administration/Management or related field, Minimum

(b) Minimum of three years’ experience in sales and marketing in financial institution preferably in the SACCO Sector

(c) Strong Communication and Negotiation skills

(e) Proficiency in Microsoft office
