Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the post of SECURITY GUARDS tenable at Grand Palace Hotel in Mzuzu (2) positions.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Continuously monitoring assigned areas to identify suspicious behavior or potential threats.

• Reporting any suspicious activity or incidents promptly to supervisor or manager.

• Manage access points to ensure that only authorized individuals enter the premises.

• First point of contact for visitors by providing assistance, directions and information.

• Enforcing company policies and procedures to ensure that all individuals on the premises adhere to safety regulations.

• Keeping detailed records of daily activities, incidents and observations for investigations and future reference.

• Any other duties as assigned from time to time.

Knowledge, skills, competences and attributes desired:

• Training attendance certificate from any security institution.

• A full Malawi School Certificate of Education with credits in English and Mathematics.

• 5 years’ experience in a related capacity/field.

• Communication, Honesty, Observation, Strength & Fitness, Attention to Detail and Alertness.
