Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols to observe the security contractor’s deployment.

• Ensure that security posts are manned as required, and that guards are performing their duties such as patrolling, access control, and incident response.

• Provide real-time security reports on lapses in deployment or performance directly to the Operations Coordinator for rapid response.

• Engage with the security contractor’s personnel to assess understanding of their roles and identify operational challenges.

• Report all security incidents to the Operations Coordinator and ensure contractor adherence to protocols.

• Provide detailed security reports contributing to overall contractor performance assessment.

• Manage employee data in the HR system while promoting and adhering to Illovo’s procedures, policies, and guidelines, including those relating to SHERO, Competition Law, and Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC).

Job Requirements

• Malawi School Certificate of Education.

• Any related Certificate/Security experience.

• A Security Diploma will be an added advantage.
