We are expanding our team and inviting applications for the following positions in Lilongwe and Blantyre.
Position 1: Site Concrete Technician
We are hiring Site Concrete Technicians to assist in daily quality control activities at batching plants and project sites. The role involves basic testing and sampling of concrete and aggregates.
Responsibilities:
• Perform slump tests and record results for each batch
• Assist in casting, curing, and transporting concrete test cubes
• Maintain site testing equipment and cleanliness
• Record and report test data accurately to the site supervisor or lab technician
• Support field operations and maintain quality documentation
Requirements:
• Basic education (MSCE or equivalent)
• Previous experience in a concrete or construction site environment preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and handle physical tasks
• Honest, reliable, and willing to learn technical skills
Position 2: Concrete Pump Operator
We are looking for an experienced Concrete Pump Operator to join our operations team. The candidate must be skilled in operating boom-type concrete pumps and ensuring efficient, safe concrete placement on-site.
Responsibilities:
• Operate and control boom concrete pumps (e.g. Putzmeister) during concrete placement
• Coordinate with batching and site teams for efficient pumping operations
• Perform routine inspection, cleaning, and maintenance of the concrete pump
• Ensure safe operations in compliance with site and company standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical or operational issues
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years’ experience operating boom-type concrete pumps
• Knowledge of Putzmeister or similar equipment
• Strong understanding of concrete handling and pump maintenance
• Physically fit and able to work under site conditions
• Valid driver’s license and operator certification preferred
Position 3: Concrete Finisher
We are seeking skilled Concrete Finishers experienced in surface finishing and slab work using mechanical and manual tools. The ideal candidates will ensure high-quality finishes after concrete placement.
Responsibilities:
• Finish concrete surfaces using power trowels, floats, and hand tools
• Ensure correct finishing levels, edges, and smoothness
• Apply curing methods and finishing compounds as required
• Work closely with the placing team to achieve consistent surface quality
• Maintain finishing tools and equipment in good condition
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in concrete finishing on industrial or commercial projects
• Skilled in operating power floats, trowels, and related tools
• Knowledge of concrete curing and surface protection methods
• Physically fit and able to work in outdoor site conditions
• Team player with attention to detail and work quality
