Talent Management Specialist

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced candidate to join our Human Resources team. Reporting to the Chief Human Resources and Administration Officer, the Talent Management Specialist will play a crucial role in policy development, recruitment, transfers, promotion, disciplinary processes, career development, succession planning, staff engagement and grievance management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective talent management strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Formulate, review, and update HR policies in line with legal and industry standards.
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment processes, ensuring the acquisition of top-tier talent.
  • Facilitate smooth employee transfers and promotions, considering organizational needs and employee career aspirations.
  • Oversee disciplinary procedures, ensuring fairness and compliance with company policies.
  • Drive career development initiatives, identifying training needs and implementing programs for skill enhancement.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement succession planning strategies.
  • Foster a positive work environment through staff engagement initiatives and recognition programs.
  • Address employee grievances through effective communication and conflict resolution strategies.

Qualification, experience and desired skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, Industrial or Occupational Psychology or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Talent Management Specialist or in a similar HR role.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
  • Strong understanding of talent acquisition, disciplinary procedures, career development, and succession planning
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with tact, discretion, and confidentiality.
  • Proficient in SAGE VIP and other relevant software.
