Vacancy Announcement

Jacaranda Primary School, a center of academic excellence and holistic child development, is inviting applications from qualified, passionate, and dedicated educators to join our teaching team.

We are seeking to recruit teachers for the following positions:

• Standard 1 Teacher
• Standard 2 Teacher
• Standard 4 Teacher
• Standard 8 Teacher
• ICT Teacher

Qualifications and Requirements:

• A minimum of a Primary School Teaching Certificate (IPTE).
• Registered with the Teaching Council of Malawi.
• For Standard 8 applicants: proven ability to prepare learners for the Primary School Leaving Certificate of Education (PSLCE) examinations under the MANEB curriculum.
• For ICT applicants: strong computer skills, with the ability to teach learners in both basic and applied ICT skills.
• At least 2 years of teaching experience in a recognized school.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and learner engagement skills.
• Commitment to child-centered teaching approaches and holistic education.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliver effective lessons aligned with the MANEB primary school curriculum.
• Assess and track learner progress, providing remedial support where necessary.
• Prepare learners for PSLCE examinations (Standard 8).
• Integrate innovative teaching methods, including ICT, where applicable.
• Promote discipline, creativity, and critical thinking in learners.
• Actively participate in school activities and professional development programs.
