About the role
The Temporary Support Warehouse Operations Supervisors (3) assists the Warehouse Operations Senior Supervisor with all daily warehouse operations. You will be a part of the Logistics Team and will report directly to the Warehouse Operations Senior Supervisor.
Note: The successful candidates will be offered a nine-month contract. On-the-job training will be provided on One Acre Fund’s warehouse tools and applications. The role is tenable in our 3 warehouses, located in Blantyre, Liwonde and Lilongwe. Interested candidates must be willing to work in the specified districts. One Acre Fund will provide support for employee relocation in-line with our internal relocation policy.

Warehouse Operations

You will comply with all warehousing and logistics policies and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) which include warehouse excellence, expectations around Inventory reconciliation SOPs, and more.

You will manage casual labor including scheduling of their work shifts and sending work info to the support team for payment request.

Documentation/Transaction Tracking

You will ensure all transactions are accurately entered using the warehouse management system promptly.

You will ensure all required documentation is attached to all transactions.

You will ensure any issue is escalated to the Management promptly.

Qualifications
-
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business Operations, Supply Chain, Agribusiness, Business Administration, Logistics or related field.

1-2 years of logistics, warehouse and operational experience.

Experience managing staff previously is an added advantage.

Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Basic computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office (Knowledge in inventory management software will be an added advantage).

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols in a warehouse/office environment.
