Overview
Fantastic opportunity to work for a reputable well established transport company who have been in business for over 20 years. The company does cross border transportation of passengers and goods between Lilongwe, Blantyre, Mzimba, Mzuzu, Johannesburg and Cape Town passing through Mozambique and Zimbabwe. The company employs over 125 staff and are currently looking for 4 people to join the Mzimba branch as a Ticket Officer.
You will be required to:
- Take accurate passenger details and prepare tickets
- Accept payment for ticket transactions and provide accurate change.
- Work closely with other departments making sure there is a seamless flow of information regarding seats available.
You will be:
- customer facing – professional and polite
- computer literate – Microsoft word & Excel, along with knowledge of social media page updating.
- speak fluent English and Tumbuka – the role is based in Mzimba, however South African customers will require assistance
- Flexibility to travel to other branches when required.
- Malawian citizen
- Hold a Malawi School Certificate of Education
