Training Officer

Atlanto Security Limited, a leading provider of professional security services, is seeking an experienced and disciplined professional for the position of Training Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs that equip security guards with the skills, discipline, and knowledge required to perform effectively in line with company standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-impact training: Facilitate induction, refresher, and specialized training covering security procedures, customer service, emergency response, and professional conduct.

• Develop training materials: Prepare and update lesson plans, manuals, SOPs, and practical training modules.

• Assess and certify guard competency: Conduct evaluations, performance tests, and suitability assessments for deployment.

• Support operational excellence: Identify training gaps, recommend corrective interventions, and collaborate with Operations and HR to enhance guard performance.

• Promote discipline and standards: Uphold company policies and enforce professional behavior during training sessions.

• Maintain training records: Keep detailed, accurate documentation of all training activities in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements

• MSCE required; certificate or diploma in Security Management, Training & Development, or related field is an advantage.

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in private security, Malawi Police Service, MDF, or other disciplined forces.

• Experience conducting training, drills, or coaching teams is strongly preferred.

• Strong command of English and Chichewa; confident presentation and communication skills.

• Physically fit, with the ability to conduct practical demonstrations and drills.

• High integrity, maturity, and sound judgment.
